How Long Is A Blueberry?

Dear Readers,
Ah, summertime! I sit here in the sticky heat of the evening bloated by the bounty of Mother Nature's sweet, sweet fruits. Blueberries to be exact. Blueberries are not just fruit, they're a segment of time-- those two or so weeks each summer when the blueberries have ripened to perfection. I drive out to a fruit stand in the country and pick up a couple flats (along with some of those deep red cherries) and gorge myself. My entire diet for days is fresh, plump blueberries, those sweet buttons of spring rain within a sexy little package. Cherries, too, are full of sexy summer sizzle but blueberries feed the soul. Unfortunately I have fed my soul far too many blueberries and can barely move. Can't... write..., full... of... berries!

See you all next week,
Ken!
